Prodding processing power with plug-ins and programming is the path the Internet pursues. For example, the newest 32-bit version of Netscape Navigator Gold extends the edge of the ledge with its 7.5MB client for Windows 95. In this issue we review several sites where multimedia is massive; you'll need to brush up on your configuration skills to install the necessary helper applications and plug-ins. For good measure, I throw in a few noteworthy sites that stretch the envelope of current practices.
