There are many different programs available for creat- ing and editing HTML files. These range from standalone shareware programs to add-ins for commercial word processors, to the editor available in the "gold" version of Netscape itself. All of them are good at what they do, but they all have a somewhat steep learning curve and expect you to interact with them much as you do with a word processor. If you only need to create a basic HTML file, you don't necessarily need to invest the money and/or time to acquire and learn an editor. With Netscape, a database management program, and a guide to some of the more common HTML commands, it is possible to create quite presentable HTML documents, easily and automatically.
