Bing expanded its date limits to include a custom date range for web searches (when the options appear, since it is not available for all searches). The custom date range is not yet available for news, images, or video, although images and video now have a "past year" option. Bing also announced free access to Bing Search APIs, including documentation and demo widgets. Access is available from Microsoft Cognitive Services, where most are in preview versions and are free up to a certain number of transactions per day or month.
