THE NATIONAL LIBRARY OF WALES

The National Library of Wales (Llyfrgell Genedlathol Cymru) has announced ambitious proposals for its future development. At the House of Lords on 3 March 1999, peers and MPs from Wales were told that the Library was conducting a major assessment of its role, in preparation for the new millennium and the National Assembly of Wales. The Library has published a consultation paper outlining proposals for access to the Library through computer networks and digital techniques. Responses are being sought from a wide range of organisations and individuals, including people who have never used the Library.
