Development of Integrated Pest Control in Spanish Olive Orchards

In 1967 FAO defined integrated control as a system of crop protection which, depending on the particular environment and the dynamics of the populations concerned, uses whatever techniques and means are appropriate in as compatible a manner as possible with the object of keeping pest populations at levels such as to make damage economically bearable.
