Perspectives on Dietary Fat and Health for Canadians

Over 170 health professionals, one-third of them family physicians, attended an evening symposium in Toronto, Canada, in mid January on "Perspectives on Dietary Fat and Health for Canadians". Presented by the Division of Endocrinology and Metabolism, St. Michael's Hospital, Toronto, and supported by a grant from the International Olive Oil Council, the symposium was chaired and coordinated by Dr Lawrence Leiter, M.D., Associate Professor, University of Toronto, and Director of the Lipid Clinic at St. Michael's Hospital.
