Second International Seminar on Scientific Innovations and their Applications to Cultural Techniques

When it met in Florence, Italy, for its 79th session in Novem-ber 1998, the International Olive Oil Council decided to organise a second international seminar on scientific innovations, this time in relation to their applications to cultural techniques. The seminar is designed to discuss and make known the scientific and technical advances in this area and will cover the subjects of: 1. Irrigation 2. Fertilisation 3. Pruning 4. Mechanisation 5. Crop health care 6. Soil protection/conservation.
