ACOM town mayors and officers from Crete on technical trip to Spain

The IOOC Executive Secretariat was asked by ACOM, the Association of Cretan Municipalities, to organise a study trip to Spain for 35 town mayors, officers and cooperative members of the Association, which is an IOOC observer. The trip was organised under the technical cooperation programme for 2003. Accompanied by ACOM Director, Nicos Michelakis, and a representative of the Executive Secretariat, the group visited a number of premises: The IOOC headquarters in Madrid where they had a meeting with the Executive Director to discuss the issues and outlook for the sector.
