A joint discussion paper by the Centre for Mental Health (CMH) and Business in the Community (BitC) has been launched to help employers address presenteeism in their workplaces. The paper is built around the BitC 'Workwell' model, including the development of a 'resilient organisation', manager and employee awareness, workforce questionnaires, training, flexible absence policies, and evidence-based interventions. Professor Bob Grove of the CMH said:'Employers need to manage presenteeism alongside absenteeism.
