Off-site emergency exercises

Because o the rareness of nuclear emergencies, the response to such an event has to be exercised regularly. The main objec- tives of such exercises., examination of plans, test of equip- ment, and education o the personnel, will be dealt with. Dif- ferent types of exercises are presented, and good practices for exercises explained. Finally, a critical assessment of exercise experience and an outlook is presented.
