In recent papers some nuclear properties related to fissile and fertile isotopes were discussed. All these nuclear properties were found to be correlated to the 2Z - N values of the nuclei. In this letter we present other nuclear properties related to the 2Z - N correlations; in this case we consider spontaneous fission properties. Spontaneous fission (SF) occurs because of tunneling through fission barriers and is the major factor that determines if a particular isotope will decay via SF or not. Because of the pairing effect, the fission barriers of even-even nuclei are smaller than those of even-odd, odd-even, or odd-odd nuclei (see Table I). As a result, the majority of the SF nuclei are even-even nuclei.
