Ur-Energy has reported that 4,110 pounds U_3O_8 were captured at its Lost Creek Processing Plant in the US State of Wyoming during the second quarter ended June 30, with 2,892 pounds U_3O_8 packaged in drums. The company's inventory totaled approximately 268,552 pounds U_3O_8 as of June 30. The company sold 167,000 pounds of purchased inventory under a term contract at an average price of US$41.50 per pound during the second quarter; there were no sales of produced inventory in the first six months and the company does not expect any sales of produced inventory this year (Figure 2). (The 167,000 pounds were purchased at a weighted average cost of $26.01 per pound.) On August 4, Ur-Energy closed a direct offering of 9 million shares that raised gross proceeds of $4.68 million.
