Status of the Siam Photon Source

The present status of the Siam Photon Source is reported. The 1 GeV storage ring has been filled with the electron beam successfully. The finer adjustment of the accelerator complex and the improvement of the associated utilities are being carried out. The construction of the undulator to be installed in the storage ring will start in a few months. The first two beam lines have been installed. A photoemission experimental station will soon be installed in one of the beam lines. The substantial part of the reformation and reassembly of the machine as well as various problems to overcome are also described briefly along with the plan for next two years.
