摘要

Atmospheric radiocarbon has been monitored around the Nuclear Power Plant (NPP) Jaslovske Bohunice (Slovakia) using CO_2 absorption in NaOH solution since 1969. In 2012, tree ring samples were collected from Tilia cordata using an increment borer at Ilkovce monitoring station situated close to the Bohunice NPP. Each tree ring was identified and graphite targets were produced for ~(14)C analysis by accelerator mass spectrometry. The ~(14)C concentrations obtained from the tree-ring samples have been in a reasonable agreement with the averaged annual ~(14)C concentrations in atmospheric CO_2.
