In this work we have investigated extreme ultraviolet emission spectra of highly charged xenon and barium in the wavelength range of 90-130 A. A compact electron beam ion trap equipped with a high resolution flat-field grazing incidence spectrometer was used to record spectra. The electron beam energy was tuned at 225,280 and 460 eV for xenon to produce Xe~(8+)-Xe~(11+) and at 500,550 and 670 eV for barium to produce Ba~(18+)-Ba~(21+). We compared the observed wavelength values with data available in the literature.
