摘要

An X-ray imaging detector called YAP imager has been developed for high-energy X-ray region at the SPring-8 facility. It possesses a [128 x 128] matrix of YAlO_3:Ce crystals, each element having a volume of 1 x 1 x 6 mm~3. A NIM logic module using programmable logic device chip was also developed as a position encoder. The YAP imager has been applied for some applications with a thermal barrier coating material and multi-layer metal sheets targets in the incident X-ray energy region of 70―150 keV. Direct X-ray beam profile at 100 keV was also measured.
