Prototype of the permanent magnet wiggler for accelerator Petra Ⅲ

摘要

The article describes a prototype of the permanent magnet (PM) wiggler to reduce the emittance of the accelerator Petra Ⅲ. The wiggle has the following parameters: the length is 4.04 m; the pole gap is 0.024m and the maximal field is B = 1.56T; the wiggler has 20 periods with λ = 0.2 m.
