External Bremsstrahlung spectra produced in thick target compounds like lead chloride (PbCl_2) and cadmium oxide (CdO) by β particles of ~(147)Pm (225 keV) were measured using 3.8 cm × 3.8cm Nal(Tl) crystal. The spectra were unfolded using Liden-Starfelt procedure. The unfolded spectra were compared with Tseng-Pratt theory. The measured spectra show fairly good agreement at low energy end of spectrum and some deviation (less than 10%) at higher energy end of spectrum with the theory. The estimation of Bremsstrahlung dose from the measured/theoretical spectrum is also discussed.
