Dead time corrections for neutron multiplicity counting

We provide dead time correction formulae for calculating singles, doubles, triples and quads rates from multiplicity counter histogram affected by paralyzable dead time losses. The approach extends the widely adopted work of Dytlewski [1]. In a brief letter to the editor of this journal published in 1991, Dytlewski set out an approach to calculating dead time corrected singles, doubles and- triple rates from multiplicity counter data.
