摘要

A new method for deriving counting rate equations describing coincidence summing of gamma and X-rays for germanium spectrometers is developed. It is applied to the decay of ~(139)Ce and ~(57)Co. It is shown that the results obtained using the proposed method are in complete agreement with the results obtained using other methods, however these results are achieved in a much clearer and simpler way.
