Bulgarian Energy Holding BEH has extended its contract with the Russian company Atomstroyexport for the construction of two WER-1000 reactors for Belene NPP, for six months. The new contract will expire on 31 March 2011. Minority partner RWE pulled out in 2009 leaving the project in limbo.
