摘要

The article presents a rigorous solution to the problem of scattering of a cylindrical (or plane) wave by cylindrical metamaterial structures of various geometries. Negative refraction of a plane wave is shown, and total internal reflection for such structures is studied. Masking of a perfectly conducting cylinder placed in a metamaterial cylinder in the geometric-optics shadow is demonstrated.
