摘要

A novel method of nondestructive inspection (NDI), intended for investigating the surface of electro-conductive objects using intermediate flexible magnetic medium, is described. This method is called eddy current (EC)-magnetography (MG)-magneto-optic imaging (MOI), because it includes a sequence of the following main steps: exciting EC in the studied sample, MG, which is a magnetic recording of magnetic leakage fields induced by EC, and MOI of the obtained MG. Basic operating principles and structures of EC, MG and MOI methods are specified.
