Eco Energy Corp. has developed a compact hybrid wind & photovoltaic power generation system VIENTOSA Kirara that utilizes a wind- and a photovoltaic-energized power generation system in combination. The system including a whole set of standaYd illumination and monuments is marketed at a domestic price of about ¥7million. VIENTOSA Kirara mounts a unique, compact type of sabonius wind power generator, commences power generation with a wind velocity of 1.5m/sec and attains the rated output with a wind velocity of 6m/sec, or can generate power with about one-half of the wind velocity required by the generic propeller type wind power generation system.
