Sensa Corp. and Gifu University have jointly developed an ultrasonic two-dimensional bone imaging system MARK250D that enables even the in-sides of bones to be seen clearly by ultrasonic imaging. The data acquired through reflected ultrasonic waves are amplified to discriminate the bones and the marrow inside the body, so bone fractures can be diagnosed in detail for treatment. The system will be placed on the market after clinical tests and subsequent to sales authorization. The system domestic selling price as a whole is ¥6 million, and the amplification system selling price is ¥1,500,000.
