Imari Daikoku Danboru Co., Ltd. and Kondou Machinery Corp. have jointly developed a corrugated cardboard container called M&S Sleeve Container that is made of plastics. The newly developed plastic container is made of polypropylene (PP), and produced by using two types of plastic plates, one with a thickness of 12mm and weighing 2.5kg/m~2 and the other with a thickness of 15mm and weighing 3.3kg/m~2. The container hinge part is made of a belt consisting of the same material (polypropylene) as the plastic corrugated cardboard container, and therefore the container can be opened and closed with ease, also can be bent within the range from zero degrees to 360 degrees. The container can be collapsed in M-form, or the container volume has been designed very compact to enable its packing and return with great ease.
