Koei Sangyo Co., Ltd. has started marketing a newly developed oscillation sieving machine CHAOS that enables substances ranging from large powders to those with fine diameters of 50 -10mm to be sieved very accurately. An adapter is fitted to generate oscillations of various frequencies to permit the sieving of particles with sizes from 50mm to 10μm. The conventional type of single oscillation ultrasonic sieving machine has a maximum acceleration of 10G, but the fitting of a multi-frequency adapter on the sieving machine enables a force of 1,000G to be impressed on the sieve netted surface.
