Dynamic duo spin close to the edge

Two of the black holes in our Galaxy are spinning at close to the maximum rate permitted by the laws of physics- more than 10 000 revolutions a second-says a NASA-led research team. The researchers claim their results may help to explain why jets of high-energy particles blast out from the hearts of many galaxies.
