Afdec says sales slowing

Figures released by afdec, the component distribution group within the Electronic Components Supply Network([ECSN) show a small increase in billings in August 2010.rnBut, according to ECSN chairman Adam Fletcher, bookings for semiconductor and passive products are beginning to slow and will continue to do so for the rest of the year, possibly becoming negative in the first quarter of 2011. "The decline in the book to bill ratio below unity in August 2010 suggests the process has already started," said Fletcher.
