While I appreciate your optimism and ultimately everything will definitely go the way of SSDs, I think it is very important for your readers to understand that they will be early adopters - especially if they are buying the cheaper MLC SSDs like the ones just rolled out by Samsung and Toshiba. The read/write issues are still very real when it comes to MLC applications and there are still many questions as it relates to controllers and I/O. MLC works fine for flash drives with very limited read/write, but when acting as a hard drive it is a completely different story that continues to untold.
