WHILE ENDPOINT SECURITY IS AN important component of a strong defense-in-depth posture, the net-work layer is more critical because it helps eliminate inbound vectors to servers, hosts and other assets while providing an excellent basis of activ-ity monitoring that improves our overall situational awareness.
