It's driven by a number of external trends, such as the number of devices that are plugged into the network—by some estimates there will be more than 25 billion devices out there in the next few years. And at the other end of the connection, organizations are continuing to build big data centers as the cost of storage and processing capacity goes down and data center networks become more capable, higher performing, and less costly.
