More devices, less satisfied

As smartpho nesand tablets surge in number, mobile workers are less satisfied with their wireless network services, a new poll from iPass has found. The global survey of 1,800 workers at 1,100 companies found a 25 percentage point decline in mobile network satisfaction compared to a year ago. In 2011,87% of workers said they were satisfied with their mobile service, while the number dropped to 62% who are satisfied in 2012. The survey also noted that workers carry an average of 3.5 devices, up from 2.7 devices in 2011. IPass and other experts attribute the decline in satisfaction to the mismatch of increased device capabilities and the fact that wireless infrastructure has not kept up with demand.
