Small and Medium-size Business (SMB) gateway applications require low capital cost (CAPEX) and low operational cost (OPEX) while demanding a wide range of advanced functions. These include switching, routing, wifi capability, Power over Ethernet (PoE), analogue voice and fax support, VoIP/SIP and remote administration, in addition to complicated security functions - all integrated into a single platform.
