Monitoring the Big Picture

We often examine network behavior so we can improve performance, but the physical network is only part of the equation. We need to monitor systems and applications too. ProactiveNet 5.1, the new version of ProactiveNet's network-performance monitoring software, gathers network, system and application metrics. The new version combines enhancements in ProactiveNet's root-cause analysis with an improved operational fit and a completely redesigned user interface. It also has added to the sources from which data can be collected, and it has integrated Mercury Interactive Topaz performance data.
