Adonis 2.O Puts Muscle Into DNS

When we tested DNS appliances last spring, BlueCat Networks' Adonis came out on top, and earned a Well-Connected Award too, because of its tight security, error-checking and ease of use (see ID# 1406f3). Blue-Cat has since come out with a new software release (2.0) for existing customers and an upgraded hardware platform- the appliance "server"-for new buyers. Unfortunately, we couldn't get the updated hardware platform or server code in time for this review. However, we did apply the client upgrade to our Adonis test platform and were impressed with the improvements. BlueCat has addressed some of the concerns we raised in our first evaluation.
