Peribit Sequence Mirror Maximizes WAN Pipes

Many enterprises are challenged by constrained WAN links that can't deliver adequate throughput for hungry applications. If bigger pipes are too expensive, Peribit Networks' Sequence Mirror 250 can help. This device applies compression, acceleration and QoS (quality of service) mechanisms to make small links act big. Peribit—just acquired by Juniper Networks—has introduced SRS-5.1 code for its SM devices that includes proprietary Application Flow Acceleration technology to squeeze fresh functionality out of branch-office-class WAN links to 2 Mbps. Big words, but does it work? My tests at our Syracuse University Real-World Labs~® showed it does.
