Getting users to your site isn't the end of the process and you must retain traffic with a user-friendly website. More than 83 per cent of people are likely to move on if they feel there are too many clicks to find what they want. Studies show the typical user takes four seconds to decide if they'll stay or leave. So website owners need to avoid making assumptions about user behaviour and the way that sites are used.
