Telephone speech recognizer DS-8000

Speech is expected to become a natural interface with computers, because people usually communicate with one another by speaking. NEC has developed the "DS-8000", a telephone speech recognizer. The DS-8000 realizes high per- formance of speaker-independent speech recognition and noise immunity. The DS-8000 offers a natural human-inter- face that is also a user-friendly interface. Applied to various application systems, the DS-8000 is expected to become a new human-interface for multimedia in the future.
