LES CENTRES DE CONTRÔLE DES SATELLITES DU CNES

Since the launch of the Telecom 1A satellite, in august 1984, CNES has gained a large experience in the field of satellite control. As of today, CNES performs the in orbit control of eight satellites including three observation satellites in Iow earth orbit and five geostationary communication satellites. After the presentation of the CNES operational activities, the functions of a satellite control centre and their implementation are described. The lessons learned during the various projects and the evolution of the technology have allowed the improvement of operations efficiency in various domains that are presented.%Depuis le lancement du satellite Telecom 1A en août 1984, le CNES a acquis une expérience importante dans le domaine du contrôle des satellites. Le CNES contrôle aujourd''hui huit satellites dont trois satellites d''observation en orbite basse et cinq satellites géostationnaires de radiocommunication. Après la présentation des activités opérationnelles du CNES, les fonctions assurées par un centre de contrôle de satellite sont décrites ainsi que leur mise en œuvre. L''expérience acquise associée à l''évolution technologique a permis d''améliorer l''efficacité opérationnelle en agissant dans différents domaines qui sont présentés.
