On May 20-22, 1999, the members of the American Society of Naval Engineers gathered at the Hyatt Regency, in Crystal City, Virginia for ASNE Day 1999. This was noteworthy, not only because it marked a Return to a more attractive springtime date, but also Because it was the first time that the Society's annual Meeting was held outside of the District of Columbia. By All measures, the new venue and date proved to be very Popular among the members and staff. So popular, in Fact, that ASNE has decided to return to the Hyatt Regency in Crystal City, Virginia for ASNE Day 2000, Which will be held May 18-19, 2000.
