State of the Society

It doesn't seem possible that my term as your President is nearly over; but as I prepare to turn over the reigns to my successor, I am pleased to report that the state of the American Society of Naval Engineers remains good, in its one hundred and eleventh year. We Continue to make progress in key areas, but change and challenge confront u On nearly every front as we prepare to enter the new millennium.
