London / Shanghai - Nature Publishing Group, Asian Academic Journals Nature Publishing Group is looking for a Senior Publishing Manager to help drive the strategic and operational management of an expanding publishing partnership program in Asia, and in particular China. Reporting to the Publisher, Asian Academic Journals, the Senior Publishing Manager will initially assist with the transition of several new titles to the program. From March 2012, the Senior Publishing Manager will manage and be responsible for the development and growth of a suite of Chinese titles from the new Shanghai offices of NPG. There are excellent prospects for rapid advancement, including taking responsibility for journal acquisitions, launches and business operations, particularly in China. The Senior Publishing Manager will work to achieve the program objectives of acquiring and developing high quality titles, revenue and profit growth and operational efficiency. One of the central roles will be driving forward Open Access publishing within the Asian Academic Journal program in China.
