Mwazi Mwazi is from the Caprivi region in the Republic of Namibia in southern Africa. He grew up in the small island village of Kasika located at the tip of the Caprivi Strip bordering with Zambia, Zimbabwe, and Botswana. Mwazi works for the Namibia Nature Foundation, which is a member of the World Conservation Union, International Crane Foundation, and Ramsar Convention. In March 2005, Mwazi was one of two sponsored guests for the NAA International Workshop in South Africa. For each workshop, our international guests give a presentation on a conservation initiative in which they are involved. NAN recently contacted Mwazi for an update on his work.
