A/B testing: in the context of marketing and business intelligence, a randomized experiment with two variants, A and B, which are the control and treatment in the controlled experiment. It is a form of statistical hypothesis testing with two variants, abductive reasoning: in artificial intelligence and philosophy, reasoning based on possible or hypothesized causes or explanations. It involves inferring the best or most plausible explanation from a given set of facts or data.
