Farewell to Our Friend Steve Janes

Hello Ava, This is Mike Allen, multihull builder for the last 28 years here in the Philippines and a close friend of your friend and client Steve Janes. I am saddened to report to you that Steve passed away from a heart attack July 2, 2007 on board his 36-foot Horstman ZOOM here on the island of Cebu. He was 69. Steve was, without a doubt, a real multihull sailor from the early mold, and an incredibly resourceful Horstman builder.
