Core Creek Marine Improves Multihull Services

Core Creek Marine, located on the ICW in Beaufort, NC, has announced a new rail system onsite which allows multihulls - with up to a 30' beam - access into its main building. The rail system was designed by the owner and built in-house to expand the already numerous services available to multihulls in the yard. The rail system was first proposed when a catamaran captain called for an estimate on repainting his boat. The owner quickly realized that while Core Creek was fully capable of providing exceptional service, there was no way to get the catamaran inside to be painted. The travel lift was too big for the opening into the building. Not wanting to turn business away, Core Creek designed a carriage capable of handling multihulls weighing up to 40,000 pounds and 65' in hull length.
