Mitchell 1 has released first quarter updates that add more functionality to its Manager/Manager Plus, Version 5.9 software, highlighted by the integration of Nexpart online parts-ordering from WI-II Solutions (formerly Wrenchead). The addition of the Nexpart link eCommerce module allows Mitchell 1 users to place orders online with over 3,000 parts distributor locations. Whether browsing the Nexpart parts catalog or just keying in a part number, the flexibility is now there to greatly improve the part lookup and ordering process. BWD Automotive has announced that its Vehicle Service Professionals (VSP) technical assistance hotline has a new name and logo for 2008. Effective immediately, it is now known as the BWD Tech Team. The new name and logo reflect BWD's commitment to delivering high-tech solutions to help professional technicians diagnose and fix problem vehicles quickly and accurately.
