Sugino says its selfeeder drill unit, the MS7 Mechatric, delivers an increase in the depth and diameter of drilled holes in ferrous and nonferrous metals. Featuring a 3.7-kW spindle motor and 7,800-N thrust, the unit is capable of facing and end milling operations. It is also capable of drilling 28-mm-diameter holes in steel and 32-mm holes in cast iron while achieving tight tolerances.
