摘要

The task of designing a rotary furnace effectively is arduous. Incorporating a heat exchanger into the design makes it more demanding. Having to design and re-design a recuperator-incorporated rotary furnace for different furnace capacities is definitely laborious. This work thus obviates this rigor of designing and re-designing a recuperator-incorporated rotary furnace for different furnace capacities by developing a software specifically for that purpose. The software was developed using Visual C++ Programming Language. With the knowledge of only the capacity of the rotary furnace the recuperator is to be used for, the developed software has the necessary database to design not only the recuperator but also the rotary furnace itself. This obviates the rigor of designing and redesigning for different furnace capacities.
